An executive magistrate lodged a complaint to police after the farmer, Ashwin Parsana, wrote to the district administration alleging fraud. Police said that the two accused Ketan Vora and Bahadursinh Chauhan approached Parsana a year ago asking him if he would like to own the government land right beside his five-acre farm. The duo forged documents and revenue records including appointment and revenue letters, gazette notification, payment challans among others to allot the land to Parsana. They took Rs 73 lakh in different amounts from him for the land. ....
