NORRISTOWN — The grand reopening of PA CareerLink Montgomery County provides a “one-stop shop” for community members looking for information and employment resources.
NORRISTOWN â Denise Ashe, of Norristown, believes the criminal justice system needs someone who understands the challenges people face in their daily lives and after decades of community service she believes sheâs ready to serve her community as a district court judge.
âI just think sometimes people are not being compassionate about why people got to where they are. What can we do differently and how can we treat people differently?â Ashe said.
Ashe, 62, of Norristown, currently executive director and president and CEO of the Montgomery County Opportunities Industrialization Center, announced her intention to seek a nomination, during the May 18 primary election, for district court judge in Montgomery Countyâs Magisterial District Court 38-1-15, which includes portions of Norristownâs first and second wards.
