Covid19 and locking them in cages side by side. This is inhumane. Its wrong and the direct consequence of Policy Decisions by the Biden Administration to stop building the wall and return to catch and release and end the stay in mexico policy. A number of us are releasing photographs and videos so the American People can see what is happening here. This needs to stop its a crisis. Its a tragedy and a manmade crisis. This was avoidable. This was preventible. Regardless of your Party Republican or democrat, you could look at what is going on here and say enough is enough. This must stop i want to thank them for making this trip available to us. It was informative and instructive and very scaberring. Sobering and as ted said preventible. This should not have happen. If we dont fern finish the job and secure the border you are inviting people into this country. The Current Administration was warned this would happen. They were told in advance you will have thousands of people flooding acro
That wraps up todays white house briefing. We now return to last Thursdays Senate commerce meeting on fcc oversight. The serenity they necertaint build at scale. Capital, talent is scarce. Innovation doesnt have to visit. The more difficult it is, the less likely we hare to get it. And its consistent, i would add, with three years of reforms we have made oven with great heat taken. They have been a proven concept for a regulatory approach. I think the reforms, the ones you championed in the steam line act, would have us close the Digital Divide. The period is a marked contrast from the prior eight years. We wasted a tremendous amount of time chasing around partisan little agendas, rather than focusing on what matters. I think this pandemic has pult Telecom Policy in a crucible. That is what we have to focus on. On closing the Digital Divide. That is where we have been the last three years and its paying off results. We have not raised the mission divide yet. And the u. S. Infrastructur
Good afternoon. It is my pleasure to welcome you all to my classroom. I am julie ladd, a Science Teacher at helena high school. Ive known governor Steve Bullock since he and i were in seventh grade. He has been a lifelong friend since then. For 40 years that have passed since that time. He and i took several classes together here at hhs. One of which was in advanced biology class taught by my dad. I was his confirmation sponsor. And about 11 years ago, he presided over my wedding. More than anything, i am the reason that you are here today. [laughter] you see, about six months after steve moved home from new york, he and i were taking tennis lessons at a city parks program. At one of the lessons, i mentioned to him that i had run into an old school made ours, lisa downs. And i was telling him what a genuinely kind and wonderful person she is. And i may have encouraged him to call her. And apparently, he did. And it is my great privilege to introduce that sweet, kind and wonderful lady
We know theyre still in there. Its after 5 00 right now. Paula, walk us through what happens if the grand jury decides to indict donald trump and or any of his allies. Reporter we expect the indictment also be for over a dozen people. The former president s lawyers say they do expect he will be among those indicted. We would expect the District Attorney would seek an indictment from the grand jury and it would go to the Clerks Office where we will most likely get our copy. Then it will be made public and well be able to read about the charges. One of the things thats unclear, jake, is when the former president would appear for his initial appearance and a potential arraignment. In the federal cases that happened quickly. Down in georgia, sources telling cnn that the former president s team expects it may take a little longer to have his first appearance down in georgia if hes indicted. Paula reid, thanks so much. As those witnesses continue to testify before the grand jury in atlanta,
