saying the mlk embrace statue is aesthetically unpleasant. the famous photo should have been a full statue of the couple and embrace. what a huge swing and miss in honoring dr. king and his wife sad. show me a white man that was honored with a statue of only two of his limbs and the daily wires frank fleming noting that mlk statue looks obscene from certain angles but members of dr. king s family were at the unveiling and they liked what they saw. i love this monument. i also see the love and strength and unity in these hands and how they symbolize a beautiful marriage and partnership. and it was one that changed the world. and on this mlk day the statue has got a lot of people talking, tweeting, and thinking about dr. king and, perhaps,
