We just recently did the command staff training for the ten hours, and it was refreshing to hear our supervisors and command staff hear how its changed in crisis intervention. Now, the officers are embracing it, theyre practicing. I read most of the reports that come to my desk for 5150s, and i see how the officers are doing a great job up there. Theyre building a rapport with people in crisis, theyre not rushing, and i think thats what we want at this point. Were motivated to continue doing our work.
