Some $935,735.57 in awards were distributed by the St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation Twice Blessed program on Jan. 28, according to the foundation.
The Twice Blessed program is a matching gift program to double contributions given between Nov. 15 and Dec. 31 to pre-selected organizations. This was the fourth annual campaign.
Donations were made to the website or sent contributions directly to the Foundation or to the participating organizations. No gift was too small and gifts were matched accordingly by predetermined levels up to a grand match total of $350,000 provided by St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation. Community swimming pool improvements, updates to hospital surgical equipment, AED’s and upgraded radio equipment ....
