This year marks the 30th anniversary of China's accession to the Patent Cooperation Treaty. In the past 10 years, a total of 115 "Belt and Road" countries have applied for 25,3 patents in China, with an average annual growth rate of 5.4%. By the end of 2022, the number of effective foreign invention patents inChina reached 86,1, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%. It fully reflects the recognition of foreign-funded enterprises for the protection of intellectual property rights in China.
China has assumed the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council for November. The situation in Gaza is at the top of the Council's agenda this month. The Security Council will also consider a number of regional hotspots, including Syria, Yemen, Central Africa and Somalia. China has always been a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development and a defender of the international order. The Council has the primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security. China will push the Security Council to take action, strengthen solidarity and cooperation.
