Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Over the past 30 years since its accession to the Patent Cooperation Treaty, China has become a major intellectual property country

This year marks the 30th anniversary of China's accession to the Patent Cooperation Treaty. In the past 10 years, a total of 115 "Belt and Road" countries have applied for 25,3 patents in China, with an average annual growth rate of 5.4%. By the end of 2022, the number of effective foreign invention patents inChina reached 86,1, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%. It fully reflects the recognition of foreign-funded enterprises for the protection of intellectual property rights in China.
