Maldives To Restore Visa-on-arrival For Visitors From South Asia From July 15
The Maldives will restart visa-on-arrival for South Asian countries, including India, beginning July 15, according to the Ministry of Tourism.

Starting July 15, the Maldives will resume visa-on-arrival for South Asian countries, including India. The Ministry of Tourism, Maldives tweeted on Tuesday, Maldives will restart issuing of on-arrival tourist visas starting 15th July to tourists travelling from South Asia. Tourists need a negative #PCR result to enter the Maldives. Further details will follow accordingly.

The Maldives, on Tuesday, announced that it will open its borders to South Asian countries from July 15. President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih announced his government s decision but also added that the situation will be reviewed periodically between July 1-15 in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
MALDIVES TO RESUME VISA ON ARRIVAL
This comes as a huge relief for Indians who have been waiting to travel abroad. South Asian countries include India. The Ministry of Tourism in Male said in a tweet that the only prerequisite will be to have a negative RT-PCR test.
