The low tide at 6 21 was at 2. 8 feet. In about 50 minutes, high tides hitting at 9. 2 feet. So were talking about a pretty big difference here. That will show you just how fast the water was coming up. Now, king tides, not a scientific term, but very popular now referring to a particularly high tide. That usually continues for multiple days, once or twice a year in coastal areas and tend to rise about 4 feet above average waves.
