out of an open window firing a long rifle. first at his neighbors homes and cars, and then at police. even at the helicopters hovering overhead. it was reported that shots were fired at residents and at some of the cars that were parked on the street. we had multiple officers arrive on scene. officers reported that this individual was shooting at them. rounds were striking the ground near where the officers were. reporter: from sky 7 you can see an oakland police suv with bullet holes in the windshield, so no officer was hit. at one point the suspect, identified as 32-year-old jesse enjand was spraying painting a woman s home. i heard like several rounds together, about five. and so that told me okay, it s definitely some sort of gun so i ran back in the home. then i looked out my upper window from the second level of my home to get a better view. as i pulled the shade back, i heard more rounds and so i thought, well, maybe someone is shooting at me. reporter: finall
