Lee Anderson, 75, of Oronoco, MN, passed away on Jan. 21, 2024, in Mesa, AZ. Born on Sept. 17, 1948, in Mora, MN, he graduated from North High School in Mpls in 1966 and began working at MnDot in Golden Valley. Joining the Army in 1967, Lee served as a Huey helicopter crew chief in Vietnam until 1970. Returning to MnDot in 1970, he continued his career in Golden Valley, Marshall, and Rochester, retiring from Central Shop in 2002 after 36 years. ....

William Joseph Hughes, Jr. (Bill) , beloved son and brother, entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2021. 
Bill graduated from St Joseph Academy High School in Brownsville, Texas and Texas A&M University in College Station. Bill’s illustrious photography career spanned over 30 years primarily in Las Vegas. He was called a “magician with light” and left behind a portfolio that is unmatched in Las Vegas. Bill was a gentle soul with a big heart.
Bill is survived by his father, Bill Hughes, brothers Mike (Jody), Dave (Barb), Dan (Mary), sister Laurie, sister in law Janie, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria and brother Bob. ....

Ronald R. Brackelsberg


Ronald R. Brackelsberg passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, after a short battle with cancer.
Ron was born June 30, 1945, at Upland, Calif., to Clyde and Doris Brackelsberg. The family moved to Lewiston in the early ’50s. Ron graduated from Lewiston High School, then the family moved to Orofino. Ron went to welding school and learned the trade by returning to California to work as a welder on submarines at Mare Island Shipyard in Northern California. He joined the U.S. Army in 1968 and qualified in the Airborne and was attached to the 181st Airborne Division. He was regarded very highly by his peers as one of the finest welders both in California, and later in Idaho where he moved to in 1971 and went to work at Dye Machine. Ron married Judy Westberg Jan. 31, 1973. Ron and partner Bob Kaufman bought the business in 1977. He sold his interest in Dye Machine and retired in 2000. ....
