Jessica Jessmon, the mother of two young children, killed them and wounded their father before killing herself in Middleton on Sunday evening. Jessmon had struggled with drug addiction and mental health issues since adolescence. Her father, Ken Jessmon, questioned the official explanation that his daughter shot the children.
About 100 aircraft were based at the city-owned airport as of 2019, the city says. As a general aviation facility, it does not host commercial aircraft.
