gunman are recovering from gunshot wounds. anne makovec reports the would- be robbers happened to pick a vendor who was prepared for a gunfight. nobody has the values of a community no more in this place. everything is going to hell with it. reporter: what was once seen as a wholesome family business running a neighborhood taco truck is now a dangerous job. we try to prepare ourselves. you don t know when it s going to happen. so it happened last night. reporter: the co-owner of this taco truck is identified by coworkers as 32-year-old omar casillas, confronted by two men demanding money at 1:30 a.m. one man had a gun but casillas had one, too. after a brief shootout, both suspect and casillas were hit several times of. coworkers say that casillas had a gun for years and had a bulletproof vest. this is isn t the first time he had to use the firearm. reporter: he said he was robbed more than a decade ago and police say taco troubles seem to be magnets for cri ....
