The bill creates a fund for wildfire victims, a 21 billion fund. This would protect the utility from having to take on this cost. This would be for future victims, not victims of the huge wildfires of the past two years. The money would come from customers and shareholders. Theres a 2. 50 charge youre already paying every month. Its a charge that was set to expire. This bill would extend it and put the money in this fund. To it the city of antioch. Surround by the mayor and city council the arrest of two suspects was announced in a hate crime caught on the victims home surveillance cameras. Based on the information that we gathered through the course of the investigation its very evident that this was a hate crime directed at this family. The suspects are 25yearold Christine Mcdaniel of brentwood and 27yearold roy sovari of antioch. Police say that sovari lighting three molotov cocktails and throwing them at the home of the williams. Three adults and four children escaped the fire only to find racial slurs and swastikas painted on the house and burned into the front lawn.
