For two consecutive weekends, student bands performed at separate Harris parties Arbitraitor and BĀDPHAYÁK at Halloween Harris and Spin the Clouds at Bird Harris instead of the events’ usual format of entertainment from a playlist for the entire night. This semester, with Grinnell Concerts, formerly the Student Government Association Concerts Committee, not hosting.
The athletes at Skyridge High School have had an outstanding year. They have earned state championships in football, girls tennis, competitive cheer, boys swimming and unified soccer. The combined boys and girls team from Skyridge placed third and the Lehi team finished eighth out of 34 Utah programs competing at the Tiger Trials at Timpanogos High School last Saturday (April 29). Orem was the official host but the meet was moved for logistical reasons. American Fork was the overall winner with 143.5 points followed by Bingham at 119 and Skyridge at 98. The combined boys and girls team from Skyridge placed third and the Lehi team finished fourth out of 18 Utah County programs competing at the Utah County Invitational meet at Cedar ValleyHigh School last weekend (April 14-15). American Fork was the overall winner with 305.75 points. In the boys events, the Cavemen posted 156 points, followed by Lone Peak with 93, the Falcons with 80, Mountain View at 55 and the Pioneers with 52 points.
