Mumbai for acquiring assets worth Rs 59.89 lakh. The assets were disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Leeladhar Bangera (67) was found guilty under Indian Penal Code Section 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act. He was also fined Rs 16,000.
The order was pronounced by Special Judge AS Sayyad. The court has also ordered to recover the number of disproportionate assets from his movable and immovable properties. Bangera is allowed four weeks to challenge the verdict at the High Court.
