A man was arrested after allegedly stealing an ambulance and leading police on a multi-city chase in Melvindale, Michigan, on June 21, according to a news report. Melvindale Police Chief Dan Jones told local media that a man stole the ambulance from a convenience store in Taylor before driving across Southgate and Detroit, with police chasing behind, before ending up in Melvindale. Two police officers were injured and three police vehicles were damaged in the chase, according to a news report. MELVINDALE, MI – A 22-year-old woman allegedly shot and killed her boyfriend, and then her father helped cover it up, authorities said.
Preaija Pope, 22, of Melvindale, is facing charges of first-degree murder and felony firearm in connection to the shooting death of her live-in boyfriend 30-year-old Timmy Robinson, according to a news release from the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. Pope’s father, Perry Pope, 44, is charged with tampering with evidence, accessory after the fact, felon in possession of a firearm and three counts of felony firearm. ....
