But theres certainly a lot of activity at the citys public works building as cree get the plowsseady to go cedar rapids has approximately 90 vehicles equipped to push snow some of the vehicles getting loaded with salt and sand has other work scheeuled for today. But that was before the forecast. That work, including some road construction, was put on hold as the vehicles returned to get reconfigured to plow snow. Could be on a late Start Schedule mondays, starting next school year. Tonight, the school board listened to concerns people have about the proposed school calendar. Right now, students get out early on select days. You can see those days highlighted on this years the proposed calendar shows that instead of early later on monday mornings.
