Speaker mike johnson and how he s gonna lead to caucus. do you think he s going to be in this job by the end of the year? i don t know. i think it will depend a little bit on whether he is willing to cut any of these deals on these important issues. we ve all seen this played out before. i felt like mccarthy would only be given one or two chances to get a bipartisan deal with democrats before he s thrown overboard, and that s what happened. i think johnson probably has the leash to do one more deal, i hope. there s this january. the white house already indicated they re willing to come to the table on immigration, willing to get some of the ukraine funding and other issues. i hope that he s willing to do that. but he s gotta be willing to do it. they still have a majority, but it s the barest of one. kevin mccarthy couldn t manage ah five seat majority. make johnson is now basically got a one seat majority, at least for a little while, because of santos given the boot, mccarthy takin ....
