U. S. Special forces and kurdish fighters storm the compound on thursday in a mission to rescue hostages believed to be in danger of execution. A u. S. Soldier was killed during the operation. 70 hostages were freed but not the kurdish captives they were september in to rescue. That raid has critics raising questions about the u. S. Role in iraq. But we begin tonight at Oklahoma State university, where today was homecoming day. There was, of course, a parade, but tradition gave way to tragedy when a speeding car slammed into the crowd. At least three are dead, dozens more injured, some critically, and a 25yearold named adacia chambers, a young woman who lives near the school in stillwater, oklahoma, has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
