In today s forwarding report, the IO said the two leaders while on remand gave important information and as such the IO appealed to the court to confine them in jail until the investigation is completed.

According to the case statement, the plaintiff became acquainted with Fayezi through social media in September of 2019. Azizul was placed on a seven-day remand in two cases filed with Paltan Police Station over March 26 violence centring the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while Jubair was placed on a six-day remand in two cases filed with Paltan and Motijheel police stations over the 2013 mayhem and the recent violence in Dhaka.

The five are: Hefajat s Assistant Secretary General Khurshid Alam Kasemi, also Nayeb-e-Amir of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish; Assistant Organising Secretary Ataullah Ameen; Executive Member of Dhaka City unit Maulana Sanaullah; Vice-president of Dhaka City unit Maulana Jubair Ahmed; and Khelafat Majlish s Joint Secretary Mufti Sharafat Hossain. Of them, Khurshid and Sharafat were placed on five-day remand in two separate cases filed with Paltan Police Station over the 2013 mayhem while Ataullah and Sanaullah were remanded for five days in a case filed with the same police station over the violence on March 26 this year.
