5 leaders of Hefajat, Khelafat Majlish remanded Star Digital Report Star Digital Report Five top leaders of Hefajat-e-Islam and Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish were placed on different terms of remand in three cases filed with Paltan Police Station over the 2013 mayhem and recent violence in Dhaka. The five are: Hefajat s Assistant Secretary General Khurshid Alam Kasemi, also Nayeb-e-Amir of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish; Assistant Organising Secretary Ataullah Ameen; Executive Member of Dhaka City unit Maulana Sanaullah; Vice-president of Dhaka City unit Maulana Jubair Ahmed; and Khelafat Majlish s Joint Secretary Mufti Sharafat Hossain. Of them, Khurshid and Sharafat were placed on five-day remand in two separate cases filed with Paltan Police Station over the 2013 mayhem while Ataullah and Sanaullah were remanded for five days in a case filed with the same police station over the violence on March 26 this year. ....
