show any issues. the tri-valley slow getting out of the area. turning to technology. pittsburgh city leaders are discussing adding surveillance cameras along i-4 after a string of shootings. steph chuang is live with proposals how to keep drivers safe. we are talking about $100,000 worth of cameras? we are. good morning. it s been unnerving for people in the east bay. every time they hear about these highway shootings. the idea is possibly to approve spending $100,000 to install cameras that would run along highway 4. this is coming out of the police department here. a 25-year-old mother of four was on highway 4 wednesday morning when someone shot and killed her. there have been 20 shootings on the freeway since november alone. the hope is cameras will deter the shootings and help solve the crime. cameras up in the city at the intersection, parks and outside public buildings have helped drive crime down. i think it would help the neighborhood out and crack down on all

the pond where this body was found is behind the bushes and the trees there. a lot of this investigation is focused on the other side. at the end is where there is a parking lot. police say the person they found was an adult woman already dead and nine hours later they are still here and questions remain about what happened. i was shocked. i ve been here every day and i never would think something like that would happen. reporter: roman and his friend troy say they were at the duck pond fishing late almost every night. they called a friend to confirm that they found a body floating there before calling the police. we saw the railing and there was blood before the pond and so we looked into the pond because we saw something floating and it was an orange shirt and i guess a little girl was floating in there at the end right there. reporter: did you see anything around? water and blood. that s it. i got a cold chill on my back. reporter: the crime scene tape spanne
appear to be random. reporter: police say a first communion reception was being held when this reunion happened. police responded to reports a gun fire shot is be front of the senior center. we do not believe at all that this was a random act of violence. when they arrived they saw a minivan and a car collided in front of the center, the people inside the van had fled. now police are searching for the passengers through surveillance video. including the routes of the people in the van could have fled we do not know whether or not they were involved in this homicide or whether or not they fled when they heard the gunshot. reporter: what police do know the other car involved in the crash was an innocent bystander. in front of the center one man was pronounced dead. police are are not releasing histoid hity and are not telling us if he was associated with the first communion reception taking place in side. police can t say if this is gang related but they did say that th
