Negros Oriental dengue cases 44% higher

DENGUE SPIKE. The number of dengue cases in Negros Oriental steeply climbed over the past weeks. As of June 11, 2022, the total number of dengue cases has reached 478, which is 44 percent higher compared to the same period last year. Assistant Provincial Health Officer Dr. Liland Estacion said in an interview Friday that the increase in cases is not yet alarming but it could get worse over the next weeks if unchecked.
