This date was december 26th, 1941, the day after americas pearl harbor christmas. How did he get involved and why did they go to fort knox . The secret service gets involved when the library of Congress Needs help. Hes kind of responsible for these documents and he wants really the Top Law Enforcement Agency in the country at the time, the secret service, to help him with this move.
