The Marysville City Council unanimously passed a resolution to restrict vehicle access to the Hollywood Trailer Park, Sand Plant and Thorntree sites. The decision was made at the Dec. 1 council meeting. The Marysville Police Department has recovered several stolen vehicles in those areas, according to Chief Chris Sachs. According to a staff report, over 125 vehicles, boats, and trailers had recently been removed from two of the three locations. The abandoned vehicles are often stripped apart, leaking oil or other fluids that is not good for the environment, Sachs said in an email. We also receive reports of vehicles driving up the levees and in an effort to protect these areas, we need to limit the vehicular traffic.â ....

from a burning home in bay point. we are hearing new details. jade hernandez joining us live from the scene. good morning, jade. reporter: good morning. the couple inside of this home very lucky this morning. when we arrived firefighters told us it s not unusual but they have a fire hydrant in front of the home so that helped out a bit this morning. you can t see from the front of this home. there is a roof collapse on the backside of the house. by the time firefighters arrived this home was fully engulfed in flames. two people were inside when the fire broke out. the couple along with their three pet birds managed to get out safely. they did so without phones in the house to call for help or smoke detectors. firefighters poured water on the side of the house because fire threatened the house next door. when firefighters arrived they realized the flames were effecting a home along madison here in bay point. we spoke to one of the occupants of 236 madison. he told us h ....
