Comings & Goings: Pho, Varsity, Hyatt set opening dates Taste of Thai at 301 G St. Quality will be the focus, owner Allison Lo said. The restaurant’s signature dish is Pho Bo with filet mignon. It’s a beef rice-noodle soup with onions, scallions, cilantro, bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeño. Other menu items include charbroiled meat over rice or noodles, clay pot dishes and banh mi sandwiches; appetizers like spring rolls, guo bao buns and fried potstickers; and several soup and vegetarian options. To begin, hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
