Holmes County Elections Board meets for reorganization The Times-Reporter The Holmes County Board of Elections recently met to conduct their biennial reorganization. The board consists of two Democratic and two Republican members nominated by their respective political party and appointed by the Ohio Secretary of State. Members recently reappointed to four-year terms include Democrat Michael Jaeb and Republican Mark Baserman Jr. Jaeb has served on the board since September 2015 and Baserman since August 2019. Other current members are Republican Wesley Schmucker and Democrat Gary Wagers. The board renamed Republican Lisa Welch as director and Democrat Mary Shaffer as deputy director. The board selected Michael Jaeb to continue serving as chairman. Welch has served as director since March 2004 and Shaffer as deputy director since October 2011. ....
