This weekend it is going to be cold throughout the whole weekend. That snow that fell yesterday wont melt soon. Here is a live look over downtown right now. It is wet and cold. We have a lowlying cloud cover that is just chilly. It is kind of crazy. Some of the roads, if you are out, we are not going to deal with any melting. We had the official stick here, just under 3 inches of snow in this location, weve seen up to five around this spot. And we want to start you off with longmont, fourpoint five fourpoint five there and over three in brighton. Holly has 3. 5 inches of snow. And in denver, we picked up two points six inches of snow. Two and half inches of snow. It will cool off here and in the city as well and there is still some snow to be had on the doppler. Evergreen is in the weather center. Evergreen you can see the snow going advisories and storm warnings continue for that part of the area, dont self our showers and storms with good thunder storms in eastern texas all as a part of the system that is moving out of the area. The 40s in just a few minutes. Tonight there is still a long list of questions after this man was killed at the denver jail. Michael marshall died in november. Now several investigations are underway to see f someone broke the law. Mark stewart is live. Mark, Denver Police, they now have the case . Reporter eric, indeed. This case is in the hands of the oliie department. Depending on what detectives find, the District Attorneys Office may or may not file charges. Yes, this investigation comes at a time when the Sheriffs Department is basically trying to reboot itself after a checkered past. We need justice in there. Im just asking for justice. Reporter the family of Michael Marshall is demanding answers. The 50yearold died at the denver jail last november. Initially arrested for trespassing, marshall was involved in a disturbance while in custody. According to his autopsy, he was restrained, he couldnt breathe, and died. Is suffering. His last moments ii this earth. How scared he was.

Mask, like this. This feels like groundhog day. Weve been here before. Reporter denver pastor Timothy Tyler is correct. In 2010, another african american, marvin booker, died after deputies restrained him, a resulting lawsuit costing the city of denver 6 million and helped prompt a massive review of the sheriffs department. And now this. Weve been expecting this. This is just one more step of the investigation. Reporter new denver sheriff Patrick Furman was brought in to help reform the department. Now, his department will have to undergo another round of scrutiny. This is a tragic event, tragic for the family, the marshall family, tragic for the deputies and our staff that have been involved.
