Marlene Hanson, age 86, was received by the loving arms of her Lord Jesus on Jan. 31, 2022, following a stroke. She was born October 28, 1935, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the eldest daughter of Martin & Regina Jacobs. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School and later graduated from Wayne State college with a degree in education. With a true love for children and learning, her calling as teacher blessed many. Mrs. Hanson has served as a teacher at Elbow Lake Elementary School (MN) 1955 -56, Halstad Elementary School (MN) 1956-62, Stanton Elementary school (NE) 1969-73, Christ Lutheran School (NE) 1973-75, and Grace Lutheran School (ND) 1975-2000.
