REHEARSAL FOR TRUTH THEATER FESTIVAL Announces 2023 Lineup

The Vaclav Havel Library Foundation and Bohemian Benevolent and Literary Association will present the 2023 Rehearsal for Truth Theater Festival honoring playwright and human rights activist Vaclav Havel. From June 2 to June 14, the Bohemian National Hall will feature award-winning performances from the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, and the US.

The Crossing Releases 30th Album: Shara Nova's Titration, Out Today on Navona Records

Today, acclaimed Grammy Award-winning choir The Crossing, led by Donald Nally, releases its 30th album Titration, on Navona Records. Premiered at the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center in Big Sky, Montana in August 2022, Titration is another creative collaboration between The Crossing and Shara Nova, founder of the chamber pop band My Brightest Diamond and one of the featured composers on the choir's most recent album, Carols After a Plague.

MPP 219 Performance: OLAGÓN - a chamber opera by Dan Trueman, with libretto by Paul Muldoon

A workshop presentation featuring singers Iarla Ó Lionáird and Gelsey Bell with an ensemble of Princeton musicians, in selections from Olagón, a new opera work composed by Dan Trueman, with text by Paul Muldoon. This performance serves to conclude the MPP219 Opera Performance course, with music direction by Gabriel Crouch, and the production directed by Mark DeChiazza.
