With the conclusion of the 2020/21 FIS Snowboard World Cup seasons at the end of Sunday’s slopestyle competitions in Silvaplana (SUI), the last of this season’s major trophies were distributed to the top athletes and nations. FIS Snowboard Nations Cup overall
Austria - 2882 points
Powered on by their alpine and snowboard cross racing squads and crystal globe-winning seasons for Alessandro Haemmerle (in men’s SBX) and Anna Gasser (in slopestyle and Park & Pipe overall), the Austrian Snowboard Team was able to earn the FIS Snowboard Nations Cup overall honours for the 2020/21 season. Claiming 15 World Cup podiums on the season and 52 top-10s, Austria finished with 2882 points - just over 400 points

WASHINGTON - China s Gu Ailing continued to shine at the FIS World Freeski and Snowboard World Championships in Aspen, Colorado on Tuesday, as the 17-year-old claimed a Freeski Big Air bronze medal to add to her world titles in halfpipe and slopestyle.
The Youth Olympic Games double gold medalist repeated her X Games glory from January where she took home the same three colored medals on debut.

After the freeskiers opened things up on Tuesday at the final day of competition for the Aspen 2021 FIS Snowboard & Freeski World Championships, the snowboarders shut it down, with an incredible big air competition that saw Canada sweep the top of the podium on the strength of standout, gold-medal performances from Laurie Blouin and Mark McMorris.
