BAY AREA, CA A 25-year-old citizen of Guatemala who was in the Bay Area to visit family in San Pablo died Sunday when he drowned in Lake Berryessa, the Napa County Sheriff s Office said.
Around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, the sheriff s office got a call that Marcos Salvador Grijalva Pocasangre was drowning in the Oak Shores Day Use Area, according to Henry Wofford, spokesperson for the sheriff s office. Witnesses say Mr. Pocasangre went under water while attempting to swim from one side of the cove to the other, Wofford said.
