oh my god. bill: that s the first of many pictures throughout the day. that s southwest of new orleans. ida tearing the roof off the top of the building. dana: one person confirmed dead. millions of people without power and that includes the entire city of new orleans. bill: ida moving over mississippi. it has weakened to a tropical storm. officials saying the threat level remains quite high. dana: team fox coverage. senior meteorologist janet dean is tracking the storm. jeff paul is live in new orleans and where are you now? we re in downtown. as the sun comes up here in new orleans we re starting to get a better idea of the damage caused by hurricane ida. this building here knocked down by the powerful winds of that storm sending bricks all over onto the ground. you see metal and pieces of wood on the nearby buildings in downtown, new orleans. something we re seeing throughout the area. we saw another building in the french quarter with its roof ripped off ....
