Leaders have said americans outside of kabul will be granted safe passage as long as they have proper documentation, even if that is beyond august 31st. The storm, most of the rain is off towards the west side of the storm where there s more population as well. Tropical storm warnings in effect now, the hurricane warning has been eliminated, the storm weakened a little bit, moved over colder water. The hurricane needs 80degree water temperature in order to sustain itself. It s off the coast and water temps are in the lower 70s and upper 60s, so rapid weakening of the storm. We re talking about a slow process for the next 24 hours. Not very common in the northeast to have a slowmoving storm. This will be moving slow so there is a bigger flood threat.
