Hubbard County extends temporary outdoor shoreland use for bars, restaurants

The Hubbard County Board renewed a resolution “to provide flexibility to our local restaurants that are operating within shoreland areas to allow them to comply with executive orders and also be in keeping with the shoreland ordinance,” according to Hubbard County Environmental Service Director Eric Buitenwerf.
The resolution allows temporary use of outdoor shoreland space on bars and restaurants “to facilitate food and alcohol service,” consistent with federal and state orders and public health and safety guidelines, that would otherwise be prohibited by the county’s shoreland ordinance. ....
