and last night protestors had their way with it. it s unfortunate but it doesn t surprise me. reporter: nearly every window blown out. cement rocks hurled through six of them. bruce calls the people who did this anarchists. i m angry at the ones that use the protests, use the marches, for their own anarchy. that s what i m angry about. it s going to be a peaceful night. you have the right to peaceful protest. reporter: when the sun went down last night, an otherwise peaceful protest turned violent. at 1:00, 400 took over the streets leaving a seemingly random path of destruction from chinatown to auto row. this morning the clean-up dozens of cars destroyed. chief sean whent says police arrested a dozen people but he admits this one protest hundreds strong caught his officers off guard. they were angrier and larger than expected. crazy. reporter: protestors about $13,000 in damage to this auto shop. its owner angry, demands police round them up. lock him in
invasions in just one week. one deadly. good evening. the latest happened just after 9:00 last night when the owner of the home on jewett avenue in pittsburg shot and killed two men who may have been trying to break in. kpix 5 s christian hartnett is live at the house right now. christian. reporter: that s right. two neighbors are excuse me, neighbors here on jewett avenue are saying it is just a scary and bizarre week. two incidents at this one house just this week two dead after last night, leaving neighbors here scratching their heads. last night police say they received calls of a shooting around 9 p.m. when police arrived they found two people shot and killed at the home by the homeowner. police say the circumstances that led up to the shoot having still shooting are suspicious. it was probably a burglary attempt. police say it was the second time they were called to this house for a home invasion. neighbors saying it s not a coincidence. there s some reason it hap
