The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested two Delhi Police head constables - Bhim and Akshay - for allegedly taking bribes from e-rickshaw drivers in exchange for allowing them to charge and park their vehicles in the Mangolpuri area. Head Constable Bhim allegedly threatened an e-rickshaw charging shop operator and demanded a bribe of INR 50,000 on July 7. On July 10, the CBI received a complaint and caught the accused red-handed while accepting the bribe, all of which was caught on CCTV footage.

The arrested persons have been identified as Bhim and Akshay. Both are head constables in the Delhi Police and are presently posted at Mangolpuri Police Station.
