MILL HALL Mill Hall Borough Council is still looking for lifeguards to apply for open positions at its pool.
Council hired 13 life guards at its meeting Tuesday night, but needs a minimum of 16 to keep the pool’s operating hours the same. The pool is open noon to 6 p.m. all week during the summer season.
Pool Manager Lane Wallace previously told council she would need 16 life guards minimum to maintain the pool’s operating hours. However, she said she’d prefer 20.
Councilman John Gugliociello Jr. asked what would happen if the borough can’t find enough life guards for this season.
