Gatlinburg needs public support for dog park grant

GATLINBURG — The city recently submitted an application for a Tennessee Dog Park Dash grant and now needs the public’s help in moving to the next phase of the grant process. “We are happy to say the city was selected on Friday, April 30, to advance to what is called the social engagement phase of the Tennessee Dog Park Dash grant program,” City Manager Cindy Cameron Ogle said. “As part of the social engagement phase the city needs the support from the public during this portion of the grant process.” Gatlinburg is one of 20 communities across the state which qualified for the Social Engagement Phase of the grant application process, which runs through May 31.
