Cops in Los Angeles County are trying to determine whether Javonnta Murphy, 32, was shot dead and stuffed naked into a barrel in retaliation for the 2020 killing of rapper Pop Smoke during a home invasion, in which Javonnta's younger brother allegedly played a role.
The man whose naked body was found crammed inside a 55-gallon barrel at Malibu Lagoon State Beach in California was identified as Javonnta Marshann Murphy.
