Man found dead in barrel may be linked to Pop Smoke's murder

Cops in Los Angeles County are trying to determine whether Javonnta Murphy, 32, was shot dead and stuffed naked into a barrel in retaliation for the 2020 killing of rapper Pop Smoke during a home invasion, in which Javonnta's younger brother allegedly played a role.
