We just took a bolt of lightning. A Lightning Strike on a jetblue flight gets diverted to Logan Airport monday morning. All passengers and crew are safe. Right now its still thunderstorms three miles or less so we are going to have to go to the south. The faa said monday that the airbus 320 left new york during the flight the plane was diverted to boston to address what jetblue calls a noncritical equipment issue. It was then when the plane was on its way to logan that it was hit by lightning. Maintenance crews inspected the plane monday morning. Are Lightning Strikes dangerous . They can be.
