Andile Sithole Businesses have taken it upon themselves to fix the potholes. The initiative comes two months after Makhanda taxi operators used their own money and manpower to fix some of the worst potholes in the town. Fed up with pothole-riddled roads of the once well-run university town of Makhanda in the Eastern Cape, businesses have taken it upon themselves to fix it. ICT and telecommunications companies, Vox, Ecologic (also known as Grahamstown Wi-Fi) and Frogfoot, have partnered to fix 300 potholes in the town as part of a project that s expected to take two months.
