angeles. i m jason johnson, in for chris hayes. we are officially in an election year, and 2024 brings with it another number of legal and political hurdles. for the quadruple-indicted disgraced ex president, less than two weeks away from the first in the nation iowa caucus. while trump is still the favorite to win in the hawkeye state, the future is far more uncertain from there. we are about three weeks out from the new hampshire primary. and while he s in the lead there is still substantial, former south carolina governor nikki haley has developed some late momentum. and of course donald trump s electoral fortunes are linked to his legal jeopardy. as of now, he has already been kicked off the primary ballot in two super tuesday states, maine and colorado, under the 14th amendment. and on january 16th, the first of his many trials scheduled for this year is set to begin, after hail mary attempts to delay the proceedings have failed. trump is now set to begin his secon ....
