Milton council approves annexation plans


Developers can begin preliminary site-plan work
Milton Town Council unanimously approved two annexation requests. One of the approved parcels is this nearly 8-acre tract at the intersection of Route 16 and Union Street Extended that would be zoned C-1 commercial. The second annexation is for Milton Attainable Housing LLC to bring in a 26-acre parcel that would be used for a mixed commercial/residential development. Developer Preston Schell said a preliminary site plan should be submitted by February with an eye toward final site-plan approval at the end of 2021 or beginning of 2022. ....

Milton council to meet Dec. 15
Milton Town Council will meet at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Milton Town Hall to discuss and possibly vote on ordinances related to two annexation petitions.
The first petition is for Milton Attainable Housing LLC, which is seeking to annex 26 acres at the corner of Route 16 and Country Road, that would then be developed into 239 housing units and four pad sites for commercial businesses. 
The second petition is for BBD LLC, on behalf of Stephen and Lynn Dexter, who wish to annex a nearly 8-acre parcel at the intersection of Route 16 and Union Street Extended, and then develop it as a commercial office and storage facility.  ....
