A Lynchburg man pleaded guilty to first-degree murder Wednesday in connection with a June 2021 shooting that killed a city man and severely injured the defendant s ex-girlfriend.
Lynchburg Commonwealth’s Attorney Bethany Harrison has concluded that a Lynchburg police officer’s use of force was justifiable during his response to a Nov. 10 homicide on Boonsboro Road. Harrison said in a release Wednesday no criminal charges are warranted.
