ac transit bus could be released from a hospital. as kpix 5 s da lin reports, the father of luke fleischman wants the suspect tried as a juvenile. reporter: 16-year-old richard thomas is being tried as an adult for burning fleischman. he set the teen s skirt on fire aboard a bus. the suspect and his attorney asked the judge to send the case to juvenile court. the victim s father carl fleischman agrees. as a 16-year-old, i feel that he should be tried as a juvenile. reporter: he says the teen feels the same way. i was a 16-year-old and i know i wasn t the most mature person. reporter: it s ultimately up to the judge to decide whether thomas will continue his case in the adult court. in the meantime, fleischman is preparing for sasha s return home from the hospital. he says the agender teen is making a lot of progress. we re just glad that we have sasha and sasha s going to make a full recovery. reporter: in oakland, da lin, kpix 5. he says his son is making suc
