Lucas Confectionery reopens, returns to charcuterie menu

The Lucas Confectionery in Troy reopened over the weekend, and its menu is back to the focus it had upon originally opening, in late 2012: cheese, charcuterie and natural wines by the glass.
The
menuhas mix-and-match offerings of six cheeses and five cured meats, plus olives, almonds, tinned sardines, mussels and octopus, and a few desserts. There are 10 wines by the glass, three draft beers, four beers by the bottle and Yesfolk kombucha.
The Confectionery will be 4 to 11 p.m. Thursday to Saturday this week, with days/hours expected to expand in the coming weeks, I’m told by owner Vic Christopher. The wine bar is at 12 Second St. ....
